Happy B-Day To Me!!

Yes, today is my 32nd B-Day, and I am feeling a little old. My kids gave me my present already today...all 3 of them slept in until 10am!! This never ever happens, so what a remarkable coincidence that this event occurred on my B-Day! Last night was my big B-Day dinner, made by my mother. We had turkey, and all the trimmings...Yummy! And a homemade chocolate mousse cake...Double Yummy! I got an Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) cookbook from my aunt. I'm a big Food Network fan, and am always at the computer printing recipes to try at home. Steve got my a Nordstrom gift card. Amazing how much that man knows me, LOL! Tonight we are going to dinner with some friends...child free. I'm debating taking Mason because he hasn't been introduced to the bottle yet, and I'm not sure how that will go. But the thought of having a nice dinner with no kids makes me undecided. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know to be extra nice to me today :)

Sneak Peek Of BDB "Write Stuff" Swap

I signed up to do a Swap on the BDB, and I was fortunate enough to be paired with Shirlene of Nanas*Trunk*Boutique. A little info about Swaps, for those of you that don't know...basically, you sign up and each buyer then gets paired with a designer. The buyer purchases enough fabric to make two sets, one for your child, and one for the winning bidder. You work with your designer to come up with something that both of you will love. The designer makes the set, ships it back to you, and your child then models the set. Then you send the pics to the designer, and she lists the set, and hopes it makes big $$$. That is it, in a nutshell. Shirlene and I decided to do two sets. I chose high end Euro fabric for both. One set is knit, and the other is woven cotton. These auctions will commence on April 7th (my B-Day), so be on the lookout for our fabulous sets below! I was so thrilled with the outcome, and I would love to do this again!
