Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Ohio & raised in Northern California

Where do you live now?
Just North of Seattle

How many children do you have? Names and ages?
I have 2 children - Lyndsay 10 and Leila 6.

What are your hobbies (besides designing and sewing)?
Shopping, photography, and spending quality time with my husband, kids & dog.

What is your eBay ID?

How did you come up with your ID, is there a story behind it?
I picked my ID before I started selling custom clothing. It is a combination of my two daughter's names. Many times I thought about changing it, but just haven't come up with the "right" one yet.

Are you a member of a design group? How long have you been a member of that group?
I have been a member of the Lil Peas for 1 year now. I was given the job of leader about 8 months ago.

How long have you been selling your designs on eBay?
I started selling my designs in April of 2005.

What got you started?
My sister is the one that introduced me to Ebay custom boutique. She was looking for a dress for her daughter when she stumbled across the community. I've been hooked ever since.

What is your inspiration for your designs?
So many things inspire me. First and formost are my kids. They are spirited and beautiful! I love to create for them. I can be inspired by the change of season, the weather, fabrics....just about anything.

Is there any other designers you admire?
Wow, that is a really difficult questions because I admire so many. Leslie of gigglez*n*grinz - LOVE her and her style and Susan of little*moonkey - just to name a few.

What is your favorite design you have created?
Hmmm, well that is hard because I usually like them all. I think my all time favorite is my white/navy nautical set and then a close second would be my Pat the Bunny set.






What is your favorite fabric designer?
I don't have a favorite, but right now I love Heather Bailey's Freshcut collection.

What is your favorite custom auction on eBay right now?

What can we expect from you in the future?
I'm starting to plan my fall line. It will be fun, colorful and wearable. You will see lots of knit sets from me this fall/winter.

Boutique Angels Charity Auction Is Underway

Anytime I see a group of designers come together for a good cause, I love to talk about it here on my blog, and hopefully bring them a little publicity. Let's give these ladies a hand, not only are they donating the proceeds of these auctions to a very deserving charity, they take the time and energy to bring us bidders an awesome selection of items to bid on! If you want some information about this group of amazing designers, here is what I got from their auctions:

"The Boutique Angels is a group of independent designers who have joined together to support children's charities.

This month's charity is St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The primary mission of St. Jude is, from their website, "to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Consistent with the vision of our Founder Danny Thomas, no child is denied treatment based on race, religion or a family's ability to pay."

So this is another great opportunity for us to spend our $$$ and help out a deserving cause, and in return get some cute boutique goods. It is a win-win for everyone! A Song That Inspires Me

I was tagged awhile back by Laurie of Kandy Kisses to reveal a song or video that reflects my life, or if I were to write a diary to music, what would the song be? The first song that came to my mind is a song that happens to be my favorite at the moment. I guess it doesn't really reflect my life, and it couldn't really be a diary to music. The reason I am picking this song is because it makes me think about the future. No matter what happens in life, no matter what mistakes you might make along the road, your future is not pre-determined. You are the author of your book, and you can make any changes. Sharing Sydney In Sugar*Sweet*Boutique

I just had to share this outfit we got today from my good friend Emily of Sugar*Sweet*Boutique. She is so incredibly talented! I am always impressed with her work, and this design is no exception. It has to be my favorite set that Emily has ever done for us. I was just in awe when I opened the package, and am still in awe when I look at the photos. Great job Em, we love it!
