Steve Conquers The Rubix Cube!

Does your husband love a challenge? Is he the competitive type? Those two statements fit my husband, Steve, to a T. Maybe it is because he played sports, maybe it is because he was in the Army, but my hubby just HATES to lose. So last night, when he got home from work, he set out on his mission to solve the Rubix Cube riddle. After five agonizing hours of twisting and turning these tiny little squares from left to right, up, down, back, forth, and sideways, the perfect Rubix Cube emerges, with six sides...each side a different color. I was proud for a brief moment, then continued what I was doing, watching my favorite TV show. Steve jumps out of his seat, and holds his arm with the Rubik Cube up high. He looks like the Statue of Liberty. Then he does the ever so manly "Whooooaa Yeah!" and begins to parade through the family room, kitchen, dining room, and living room, with two of our kids marching behind him. I glance, and continue to watch my show. He probably displays his trophy right on top of the TV, so that no one will miss it if they come in the house, and begins to call everyone in his phone book to share in his joy. And what do I do as the proud, supportive wife? I grab the Rubix Cube, mess it all up, and toss it to him, giving him a new challange....Do it again!!
