A Song That Inspires Me

I was tagged awhile back by Laurie of Kandy Kisses to reveal a song or video that reflects my life, or if I were to write a diary to music, what would the song be? The first song that came to my mind is a song that happens to be my favorite at the moment. I guess it doesn't really reflect my life, and it couldn't really be a diary to music. The reason I am picking this song is because it makes me think about the future. No matter what happens in life, no matter what mistakes you might make along the road, your future is not pre-determined. You are the author of your book, and you can make any changes. It is not a hard copy, merely a rough draft. So here is my choice:

Song Title: "Unwritten"
Artist: Natasha Bedingfield

Some Lyrics:

"I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We've been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can't live that way

I am unwritten, can't read my mind, I'm undefined
I'm just beginning, the pen's in my hand, ending unplanned

Staring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find

Reaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your innovations
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten"

I will tag Patty and Emily...share your songs girls!
